Common questions

My purchase didn't show up, or I reinstalled the game.

Open the coin shop and tap Restore purchases. Purchases are handled by Apple and tied to your Apple ID.

Where is my progress saved?

On your iPhone only. Deleting the game deletes your progress, and we cannot recover it for you.

How do I close an ad?

Ads are supplied by our advertising partners, and their close button isn't always an ✕. After the ad plays, look in the top-right corner for a ⏩ or ✕ — it can take a few seconds to appear, and some ads show an App Store page first (close it with the ✕ at its top-left). Your reward is added when the ad closes.

If an ad ever has no way out at all, close the game from the app switcher and reopen it, then email us the time it happened so we can report it.

How do I stop personalised ads?

On your iPhone, go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and turn tracking off for Cupcake Factory. You will still see ads, but they won't use your advertising identifier.
